This Privacy Policy applies to the Quick Scanner - QR & Barcode mobile application and related services provided by Sajidgas ("Developer," "we," "us," or "our"). The Application provides QR code scanning, barcode scanning, scan-from-image functionality, scan history, light support, and launcher-related access.
2. Data Collection
Depending on the features you use, the Application may access or process limited data such as device information, app version, operating system version, network status, Wi-Fi status, advertising identifiers, diagnostics, crash data, app interaction data, scan history stored by the app, and images that you choose to scan from your device through supported system flows.
If you scan a QR code or barcode, the code content may be processed to display the result or support optional actions such as opening a link, saving contact information, or saving calendar event information. If you contact us directly, we may receive your email address and the contents of your message.
3. Data Use
We may use information to provide scanner features, read QR and barcode content, display scan results, maintain scan history, support image-based scanning, provide launcher functionality, deliver app notices, improve performance, analyze stability, prevent misuse, support advertising and measurement, troubleshoot issues, and comply with legal obligations.
4. Permissions and Device Access
The reviewed Android App Bundle requests the permissions below. Some permissions are requested only when you use a related feature or when required by your Android version.
- Camera: used to scan QR codes and barcodes through your device camera. During testing, the app displayed the message "Camera access is required to scan QR codes and barcodes."
- Contacts write access: may be used only if you choose to save supported contact information from a scanned QR code to your address book.
- Calendar write access: may be used only if you choose to save supported calendar event information from a scanned QR code to your calendar.
- Notifications and cloud messaging: may be used for app notices, scanner-related reminders, service messages, or update notices where supported.
- Internet, network state, and Wi-Fi state: used for app services, ads, analytics, diagnostics, crash reporting, configuration, and related online content.
- Vibration: may be used for scan feedback, alerts, or user interaction feedback.
- Phone state or basic phone state: may be used for compatibility, diagnostics, fraud prevention, advertising measurement, or service optimization. The Application does not use this access to read call audio, text messages, contacts, or personal conversations.
- Wallpaper, launcher, and package deletion request access: used for launcher-related flows, wallpaper or home screen presentation, and system uninstall request flows that require user action and Android confirmation.
- Wake lock and foreground service: used to keep required app tasks running long enough to complete supported operations where allowed by Android.
- Advertising ID, Android AdServices, and install referrer: used for ad delivery, ad measurement, attribution, frequency control, fraud prevention, analytics, and install source measurement.
The reviewed bundle did not request location or microphone permission. If a future release adds new sensitive permissions, this Privacy Policy should be updated before that release is distributed.
5. Launcher App Notice
Quick Scanner - QR & Barcode includes launcher functionality. If you set it as your default launcher, parts of your home screen experience may be updated, including layout behavior, shortcuts, search surfaces, wallpaper presentation, or icon arrangement. Your installed apps and personal files remain available on your device. You can change the default launcher, clear app data, or uninstall the Application at any time through Android settings.
6. Third-Party Services
The Application may rely on third-party providers for barcode recognition, analytics, crash reporting, advertising, mediation, attribution, cloud messaging, app distribution, and platform services. These providers may process limited information according to their own privacy policies and operational requirements.
Third-party technologies may include Google Play services, ML Kit barcode functionality, Firebase-related services, advertising and mediation providers, attribution providers, and other service providers needed to operate, secure, measure, or monetize the Application.
7. Data Retention and Deletion
Local app data, including settings, preferences, and scan history, is generally retained on your device until you delete it, clear app data, reset the Application, or uninstall the Application. Images you choose for scanning are used for the selected scan operation and are not required to be stored by us as account data.
Third-party providers may retain analytics, advertising, crash, attribution, or diagnostic data according to their own policies and legal obligations. You can delete local app data by clearing the Application's storage in Android settings or uninstalling the Application. 8. Children's Privacy
The Application is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the Application, please contact us so that we can review and take appropriate action.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information associated with the Application, including secure transmission where supported. However, no system or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
10. User Choices
You can manage app permissions through your device settings. You may deny or revoke permissions such as camera, contacts, calendar, phone state, or notifications, but related features may stop working. You can also reset app data, change the default launcher, or uninstall the Application through Android settings.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When changes are made, the revised version may be made available through the Application or related materials. Continued use of the Application after changes take effect means you accept the updated Privacy Policy.
